The Vivek-Roma Musical – A Symphony of Emotions

“And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand, They danced by the light of the moon.”

― Edward Lear

When two people fall in love, every atom in their body dances with joy, and that’s how you get that bounce in your step, or at least that is what we would like to think. Vivek & Roma’s Sangeet Ceremony was a confirmation of this, as it was an evening full of affection, stunning moves and cheerful festivities. There were smiles all around as the loved one shared the joy of the couple. The Sangeet venue was decked up in gold and appeared exquisite. The happy couple looked elegant and dazzling, radiating pure joy.

The Sangeet ceremony wasn’t just an event but was a celebration of the victory of love. It was an evening where everyone shed their inhibitions and danced away with delight. Every performance was remarkable.

Wait, wait, wait, hold up! Why are we just describing them when we can show them to you? Let’s dive in, shall we?

The Sensational Bride & Groom

The first dance had an elegant Señor woo his graceful Señorita with some spectacular moves. Dimmed light, dreamy haze, and a steamy performance by Vivek & Roma commenced the Sangeet ceremony and set the dance floor ablaze with passion.

Selecting a well-crafted mashup that included, Señorita by Shawn Mendes ft. Camilla Cabello and for the desi touch Naah by Hardy Sandhu, the choreography by Vidhi Batia was sublime.

Vivek & Roma’s smile during the performance, clearly displayed how much fun these two were having dancing like that together. Their moves were so beautiful that it was difficult to take your eyes off them. Have a look.

The Surprising Parents

Vivek & Roma might have set the bar too high with their performance; however, they weren’t expecting such a tough competition in the adorable category. The original Mr & Mrs Rohra, had the crowd cheering at the top to their voices. Draped in a gorgeous red saree, Mrs Rohra got Mr Rohra singing “Tune maari entriyan, to dil me baji ghantiyan” followed by the famous composition “badan pe sitare by Shakar Jaikishan”. Setting some major #couplegoals right there for the newlyweds.

Roma’s Uncle & Aunty’s Lesson on How to Set the Dance Floor on Fire.

Kids, if you are watching this better take notes. Performing on a mashup including “Naina Da Kya Kasoor by Amit Trivedi” and “ Recreation of Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche by Sanam band”, Roma’s uncle & aunty’s performance gave even the most seasoned professionals a run for their money. Don’t believe us, watch the video now.

She Puts The “Roma” in Romance

Well, we could see how difficult it was for Mr Groom to get a hold over himself when he saw his gorgeous Bride own the dance floor. Adorning a deep jade gown, and looking like an absolute diva, Roma danced away on Makhna by Tanishq Bagchi, subtly reminding Vivek that he was now going to be her “Sansar aka world”.

Her Tribe

The thing about your tribe is that they lift you like no one else. Roma and her gang raised the bar really high for the next groups. Dancing on a fire medley that consisted of some chartbusters like, “dholi dhol baja by Ishwar Kumar, Gal Mitthi Mitthi & London thumakda by Amit Trivedi, the group of girls were an epitome of perfection.

Her Tribe – Take Two

Well, Roma has a lot of talented friends, and, there is no way one performance was going to hold up all that flair. So, it was time for the second take. The boys amped up the energy with a power-packed performance on “Vishal Dadlani’s Bala”, while the girls took everyone down the educational lane with the renowned “GUJJU song from Kal Ho Na Ho”.

Vivek & The Boys

When the stakes are that high, you always bring in your A-game. That is what Vivek & the boys did. With back to back electric performances on “Yeh Baby by Garry Sandhu”, “Dil Luteya by Jazzy B ft. Apache India” and bringing it all together with “Malhari by Sanjay Leela Bhansali”, Vivek & the boys claimed their rightful place on the dance floor. We can’t describe it, you got to see the fire for yourself.

La Familia

The people who will always be happier than even you in your happiness are called family. The adorable performances by the family members on “Galla Gudiya by Shankar Ehsan Loy”, “Gur Naal Ishq mittha by Bally Sagoo”, and “Aunty Ji by Amit Trivedi” had everyone grooving along with them.

The Brothers & The Clan

It was time to add some funk on the dance floor as the brothers of the Bride & the Groom, gave a dynamic performance on a brilliant mashup of “Get Lucky by Daft Punk ft. Pharell Williams”, followed by “Ghungroo by Vishal-Shekhar”. Their performance was followed by the whole gang joining in to set the mood right with Vishal-Shekhar’s recreation of “Yeh Jawaani”. Let’s just say that the moves saw some intense jaw-dropping reactions. See for yourself.

Conclusion – Roma & Vivek’s Sangeet ceremony was one of the purest forms of love that we at 35mmcandids were fortunate enough to witness firsthand. Everyone shared the joy of the couple and celebrated their union with such enthusiasm, that we couldn’t stop ourselves from saying; “well this is indeed #goals”.
